Sepps Team Weekend

The first training camp of the 2008 season went off without a hitch this past weekend at Chez Quatsch on Meech Lake in Gatineau Park. Mike, Glenn, Todd, Peter, (Vandoodledonk and Dier) and Anthony all made for a weekend of big efforts and big laughs. Test master Todd took care of the ever painful testing to see where the boys were in terms of fitness, Mike was the hostess with the mostest, and Anthony brought the Le Roi back to life. Lots of time on the trainers, snowshoes, and XC skiis were well rewarded with a stellar trip to Le Nordik. At the end of the weekend team moral was high, fitness was high, and the Sepps train is ready to roll

Tour de France

Peter and Nate made the trek across the pond to the 2007 Tour de France this past summer, and came back pretty handy on the climbs and with some pretty good shots of the action.

Gatineau Park Weekend

Late October and it was 25 degrees and sunny, perfect end to the season and I think the only time this season that we were all in the same place at the same time. Nate took the polka dot jersey, the green jersey was never decided since traffic was brutal in the park and we could never get a decent sprint lined up. Mike was the hostess with the mostess at his Meech Lake cottage.

The 2008 Sepp's Cycling team line up, from left to right:

Glenn Morton - 33, lives in Kingston. Rides Wilier as a climber as well as a solid crasher.

West Edwards - 37, lives in Kingston. Rides FRM as the teams old school sprinter.

Nate Patry - 26, lives in London. Rides Cannondale and was a late season addition in 2007, made a good 1st impression by the winning polka dot jersey at the team Gatineau Park training weekend.

Mike Quatsch - 14, lives in Kingston. Rides a different Wilier each day of the week, recovering from illness and training hard for 2008

Peter MacQuilham - 26, lives in Toronto. Rides a super reinforced Wilier as a sprinter as well as team powerhouse.

Todd Olynick - 36, lives in Ottawa. Rides a Wilier as a sprinter and spinning demon. Also takes good care of the team with top notch training programs and testing
